Re: Sanction of Events May to December 2004

    Ensuring your tournament is listed in the calendar of events is a good advert and is a means for you to attract players. To maximize this publicity I would encourage you to apply for sanction of your tournaments.

    I am in the process of updating the IBF International Calendar of Events and it would be useful to receive sanctions for events from May to December 2004. Could I therefore urge you to apply for sanction for your events as soon as possible. The sooner you can apply for sanction the better, as it assists officials and players to plan their calendars.

    The calendar is updated weekly and published on our web site, www.worldbadminton.net. A printed copy is available on request.

    Please note that the sanction now needs approval from your Continental Confederation prior to acceptance for the calendar. I am attaching an application for sanction form. Please complete, then send to your CC for authorisation before returning to IBF.
